Chris Evans, probably best known for playing Captain America in the MCU, has had a long career spanning multiple genres. He recently starred in “Knives Out” and lent his voice talents to “Lightyear,” but many have forgotten one of his early R-rated films which dealt with love, drug addiction, and heartbreak.
The film in question is 2005’s “London,” a drama about a girl of the same name which features Evans along with Jessica Biel and Jason Statham. Evans plays Syd, a drug addict who has been left heartbroken by London and decides to confront her about their past.
In a 2013 interview, Evans confessed that, unfortunately, he could relate to Syd because he had also had similar arguments with women in the past. When discussing what it was like on set he added, "I'm a bit of a control freak. And it's easier to be a control freak on a smaller project. If I were a director, I would never hire me. I want to know about everything — from the music to the camera angle."
