We're not sure how a Kaylon like Isaac on "The Orville" would respond to the phenomenon of binge-watching, but that doesn't mean the actor who portrays him, Mark Jackson, is a stranger to it. In a recent interview when asked if he was watching any other shows, Jackson responded, "I've been enjoying 'The Great,' which is on Hulu as well, so that's Hulu promotion there for you."
He went on to say: "That's one of the best shows I've ever seen, and Douglas Hodge's performance is wonderful, so that's great." Hulu's "The Great," tells a largely fictionalized story with some characters loosely based on real-life figures, like Catherine the Great (Elle Fanning), who ruled as Empress of Russia from 1762 to 1796.
However, you won't find Hodge’s General Velementov, the regularly inebriated general, in any history books. Although the show probably won't earn many accolades from history professors, critics seem to agree with Jackson’s pick, as it currently holds a 94% critical rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
