Ken Howard

Ken Howard appeared on one episode of “The Office” as Michael’s old boss, Ed Truck. Howard, who was known for roles in “The White Shadow” and “1776,” died in March 2016 at age 71 due to pneumonia.

Patrice O'Neal

Patrice O’Neal is best remembered for his stand-up comedy, but he was also known for playing warehouse worker Lonny Collins. The 41-year-old O'Neal died in November 2011 from complications due to a stroke.

Ranjit Chowdry

Ranjit Chowdry had a brief but memorable role as Michael's telemarketing coworker Vikram. Sadly, Chowdry died at age 65 in April 2020 after emergency surgery to correct a ruptured ulcer.

John Ingle

John Ingle had just one appearance on the show, playing founder John Dunder. Ingle, who was best known for playing Edward Quartermaine on “General Hospital,” died of cancer-related complications in September 2012 at the age of 84.

Hugh Dane

Hugh Dane was a well-known character actor in film and television for years, who also played the always memorable security guard Hank Tate. Sadly, Dane passed away from pancreatic cancer in May 2018 at the age of 75.

Mark York

Mark York played William "Billy" Merchant, the owner and property manager of Scranton Business Park. In May of 2021 news broke that Mark York had died at the age of 55.
