The "Obi-Wan Kenobi" series' fifth episode includes flashbacks of Anakin Skywalker training under his master Obi-Wan Kenobi. Casual "Star Wars" fans will know that this sequence took place sometime during the prequel era, but a few eagle-eyed viewers pinpointed a more accurate timeframe for the flashbacks, due to one small detail.
A Redditor noticed that Anakin has both of his hands in the show's flashbacks. Since Count Dooku cuts off Anakin's right arm in "Attack of the Clones" and it was replaced by a prosthetic, these "Obi-Wan's" scenes must predate that film. Other Redditors noticed more details, with one saying, "[Anakin] is also knighted just after 'AOTC' and he still has his braid here."
The small hair braid in question is worn by padawans, and Anakin only becomes a full-fledged Jedi after the battle of Geonosis at the end of "AOTC." Another Redditor noticed that during the "Obi-Wan" scenes, Anakin uses his first lightsaber, which later gets destroyed during "AOTC," further confirming exactly when these flashbacks took place.
