The Obi-Wan
Kenobi Part I
Moment That
Makes No Sense

In the Disney+ series "Obi-Wan Kenobi,” Ewan McGregor is back as the title character, who is tasked with tracking down another member of the Skywalker bloodline. Inquisitor Reva (Moses Ingram) hires a squad of scum to kidnap Leia Organa (Vivien Lyra Blair) from Alderaan, in one of the worst snatches the galaxy has ever seen and fans on Reddit were quick to notice.
The villains give chase before eventually capturing Leia, in a hunt that takes far too long, given how slow Leia is and how inept these thugs are when it comes to being blocked by thick foliage. It was a noticeable issue that fans quickly took to r/StarWars to pick apart, wondering why the scene moved at a bantha's pace.
Redditor u/P4tchey said, "It looked like they were intentionally running into objects. I thought it was going to be a psyche out, and they were just playing." It’s a minor issue in a seemingly great debut of the Jedi Knight's return, but there’s a (new) hope that the show will pick up the pace should any further chases ensue in "Obi-Wan Kenobi.”
