The recently announced "Young Sheldon" spin-off series will delve deeper into the lives of Georgie Cooper (Montana Jordan) and Mandy McAllister (Emily Osment).

Assuming that the show comes to fruition as planned, the "Young Sheldon" spinoff will connect the "Big Bang Theory" universe to "The Golden Girls" series.

The popularity of "Golden Girls," the cherished 1980s sitcom about four elderly divorced women, opened the door for the spin-off "Empty Nest," which was succeeded by "Nurses."

While the "Big Bang Theory" saga isn't directly linked to "Golden Girls," the upcoming Georgie and Mandy series is similar to "Nurses" given that it's also a spin-off of a spin-off.
