The first episode of "Moon Knight" focuses on the seemingly ordinary Steven Grant, as he grapples with becoming the center of a series of bewildering mysteries. However, Steven also struggles with the regular elements of everyday life, such as dating and taking care of a pet.

After a date tells him to lose her number, Steven drowns his sorrows in a box of Belgian chocolates. However, he makes the mistake of sharing some of the chocolate sprinkles with his goldfish, which is never a good idea.

Even though Steven's actions are kind and well-intentioned, it's a well-known fact that goldfish can't eat chocolate because it can kill them. The fate of the goldfish isn't clarified during this episode.
