One of the best aspects of "The Mandalorian" is the show's casting. The third season, which is currently filming in California, has producers flexing their casting acumen once again with the addition of a "Back to the Future" legend.
Christopher Lloyd will be joining the Season 3 cast in a guest-starring capacity. Details about Lloyd's role are not yet known, but "The Mandalorian" has a penchant for presenting new locales and characters in almost every episode so the 83-year-old actor could pop up just about anywhere.
Lloyd is best known as Dr. Emmett Brown in the "Back to the Future" trilogy and for his role on the classic sitcom "Taxi.” The actor was recently seen alongside Bob Odenkirk in "Nobody," and he was also featured in last year's "The Tender Bar," directed by George Clooney and starring Ben Affleck.
