"That '90s Show" is the upcoming Netflix sequel to "That '70s Show" that will follow a new cast of characters. As some of them have connections to the original characters from the ’70s, Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Wilmer Valderrama, Ashton Kutcher, and Laura Prepon will be making some kind of appearance, but Danny Masterson will not.
Masterson, who played fan-favorite Steven Hyde, will not be joining his former co-stars in "That '90s Show” due to multiple sexual assault allegations. The allegations came to light in 2017 and he was then fired from Netflix’s sitcom, "The Ranch.” Masterson has only worked on two projects since then, but they have yet to be released as of writing according to IMDb.
After being taken into custody in June 2020, Masterson made bail and his trial is set to begin this coming August. If convicted of the charges against him, he could face a prison sentence of 45 years to life.
