Veteran actor Ray Liotta passed away in his sleep at the age of 67, he was in the Dominican Republic filming "Dangerous Waters." The talented actor was still enjoying mainstream success and was in the middle of finishing other projects at the time of his passing.
Liotta is known for his roles in "Goodfellas", "Field of Dreams," and "Narc," and more recently, "The Many Saints of Newark," "Marriage Story," and "No Sudden Move." He was skilled at playing the villain but has 126 credits on his IMDB page spanning diverse roles across film, TV, and video games.
Liotta’s last completed project, “Cocaine Bear,” is directed by Elizabeth Banks and also stars Keri Russell, Alden Ehrenreich, O'Shea Jackson, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. It is inspired by the true story of "Pablo Escobear," a bear that eats a whole duffle bag of cocaine with the added fictional twist that sends the bear on a murderous rampage in Kentucky. The thriller is slated to be released in 2023.
