Big Bang Theory

On CBS' "The Big Bang Theory," Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) and Amy Farrah Fowler (Mayim Bialik) have quite an interesting relationship. It turns out, the actors boast the same strong bond even in real life — Bialik was present at Parsons' wedding in 2017, and Parsons is an executive producer on Bialik’s show “Call Me Kat.”
In an interview, Mayim Bialik revealed the trait that served — and continues to serve — as the key to her wonderfully working partnership with Parsons. “I think one of the things that worked so well for us as actor partners, and maybe as producing partners too, is that we're not overly sentimental as humans,” the actress said.
When Sheldon and Amy tied the knot in the Season 11 finale, "The Bow Tie Asymmetry," putting on a wedding dress was difficult for Bialik, given her 2012 divorce and her battle with body image issues at the time. She credits Parsons for helping her get through the scenes, saying, "I love Jim Parsons as my co-worker and friend."
