The hugely popular show "Full House" hit the airwaves in 1987 and saw cameos and appearances from big pop-culture icons like The Beach Boys, Scott Baio, and Jaleel White. However, not many people remember that an actor from the 1984 smash hit "Ghostbusters" also made an appearance on the show.
Ernie Hudson, who played Winston Zeddemore in the "Ghostbusters" movies, appeared in Season 1, Episode 7, of "Full House" as a boxer named Reggie "The Sandman" Martin. Bob Saget, who portrayed the role of Danny Tanner in the show, interviews Martin before the fight and informs him that his wife has left him.
It turns out that Martin had been training in isolation for months and that his wife actually left him during that time without him knowing. Martin loses his focus and
the fight, prompting people to blame Tanner for his loss; however, Martin thanks Tanner for being upfront with
him about the information.
