The Friends Cast Reacts To Matthew Perry’s Tragic Death

The entertainment world is reeling over the death of “Friends” star Matthew Perry. Many celebrities have reacted over the shocking death, especially the stars of the iconic sitcom.
Two days after news of Perry’s death came to light, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc came together to honor their friend and co-star.
In their statement to People, they wrote, “We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family.”
They added that they are taking time to process the loss of Perry, and will have more to say in the future. They concluded by sharing their thoughts and love to Perry’s loved ones.
Morgan Fairchild, who played Chandler’s mom, posted to X, “I'm heartbroken about the untimely death of my 'son', Matthew Perry,” alongside a still of her with Perry in “Friends.”
Paget Brewster, who played Kathy, posted on X, “I'm so very sad to hear about @MatthewPerry. He was lovely to me on Friends and every time I saw him in the decades after.”
