"Family Guy" is full of pop culture references and jokes, and it often features celebrities playing parodies of themselves. While the likes of Adam West, James Woods, and Betty White have lent their voices to the show, not many people remember that Ryan Reynolds has also done the same.
In the 2011 "Family Guy" episode "Stewie Goes for a Drive," Reynolds voices a caricature of himself who has moved next door to the Griffins to shoot a new movie. Reynolds and Peter strike a friendship at the actor's housewarming party, but when Reynolds tries to kiss him, Peter realizes that his new neighbor may want more than friendship.
Reynolds, who is friends with "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane, has appeared in two more episodes of the show; he voiced an overweight man in the episode "Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!" and played himself in "Follow The Money." He has also made tiny but hilarious uncredited cameos in two MacFarlane films, "Ted" and "A Million Ways to Die in the West."
