The Ending Of
Blue Bloods
Season 12
Explained
By CALVIN CARTER
At the end of "Blue Bloods" Season 12, the duos of Danny & Baez and Jamie & Joe are working on connected cases, which means we get an excellent team-up between the four. They find a missing teenager strapped to a bomb, and Danny takes charge of successfully diffusing it.
Erin finally confirms that she will run for district attorney at the family dinner. This wraps up one of the season’s nagging questions and sets up a central plot for Season 13, as Erin’s candidacy will offer a great shift for the Reagan family.
Finally, Baez becomes a new mother, adopting the baby of a witness killed by an explosion. It's a heartwarming surprise and raises the question of how Baez will balance being a single parent with her work as a cop.
