The Conjuring 4:
What We
Know So Far
By DEVON FORWARD
"The Conjuring" and the following films in the series have all been extremely successful. The most recent installment, "The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It," received mixed reviews from critics, but did well with the fans and they clearly want to see more supernatural jump scares in “The Conjuring 4.”
As of right now, Warner Bros. has not officially greenlit a fourth film, but there’s really no reason not to, so with any luck it should be announced soon and hit the ground running. If that’s the case fans can expect it to hit cinemas in about two to four years.
On top of Farmiga and Wilson, there are only a few people who we could guess would appear in another installment. But the franchise usually expands the story and adds characters with each new film, so there are likely to be plenty of new people in "The Conjuring 4."
The Warrens have investigated a lot of notorious cases so the fourth movie could include the supposed haunting of the Snedeker family in Connecticut in 1986 or the Smurl demon haunting in Pennsylvania, from 1974 to 1989. However, it would be cool to see the couple take on a different well-known haunting they didn’t investigate, as it is a fictional horror movie after all.
