In the ninth season of "Chicago P.D.," there is one storyline that many fans feel makes no sense at all. When Hailey Upton seems overly shaken after killing human trafficker Roy Walton fans found her reaction quite perplexing.
Fans took to Reddit to voice their displeasure with Hailey’s reaction as one user explained, "I am so annoyed with this Hailey storyline she's having a mental breakdown because a seriously bad dude, who killed [and] trafficked women, got his comeuppance. It just makes no sense."
Another user agreed with the post and added, “My problem with Hailey's storyline is that they are making it seem like she killed the guy for no reason, in cold blood […] in my eyes killing Roy was justified to protect her and Voight." Clearly, a lot of "Chicago P.D.'' fans see Hailey’s in-the-moment action as relatively justified, considering the danger, and think her emotional response was out of character.
