The Chicago Med Couple Who Were Broadway Stars In Real Life
BY JENNIFER MASHUGA

Colin Donnell played Dr. Connor Rhodes in “Chicago Med” with a tumultuous love life, including girlfriends Robin Charles and Ava Bekker.

Patti Murin portrayed Dr. Nina Shore, who dated Dr. Will Halstead, but they broke up after Will realized he still loved his ex.

Fans were startled to learn that the two actors — while not sharing many scenes together — are married in real life and are both Broadway stars.

Donnell has appeared in three Broadway shows, including "Jersey Boys," "Violet," and played Billy Crocker in the 2011 Broadway revival of "Anything Goes."

Murin has also appeared in three Broadway shows, including "Xanadu," "Lysistrata Jones" in which she played the title role, and "Frozen," as Anna.

Murin and Donnell met in 2006 but didn't fall for each other until they starred in Shakespeare in the Park's "Love's Labour's Lost" in 2013.
