The history of television is filled with actors who played best friends or spouses on the screen but could not stand each other in real life. One such on-screen couple is Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic, who stuck it out across eight whole seasons on the crime procedural “Castle.”

Following the cancellation of "Castle" in 2016, Us Weekly published a grim picture of the real-life working relationship between Katic and Fillion reporting that they wouldn’t speak to each other off-set and that they even attended couples counseling. Things got so bad that Katic could reportedly be heard crying in her dressing room in between takes.

Four years after the end of “Castle” Katic spoke with The Daily Mail about her exit from the series and said that even though certain aspects of the show still hurt her she was thankful for being a part of the project. Even though she had good things to say about the show there was no mention of her relationship with Fillion.
