The Big Bang Theory Finale: Only Real Fans Caught This Missing Character
By MELISSA LEMIEUX
In "The Big Bang Theory" series finale, "The Stockholm Syndrome," the entire gang is in Sweden to see Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler accept the Nobel Peace Prize in Physics.
While it’s nice that Sheldon’s friends are there, fans on "The Big Bang Theory" subreddit say that Mary Cooper’s absence made no sense given how close the two are.
Even though Mary supported him throughout the show's run, actress Laurie Metcalf was portraying Hillary Clinton in "Hillary and Clinton" during the time the finale was shot.
Filming took place on April 30, 2019, and the play had opened on April 18 and wouldn't close until June of that year, forcing the show's writers to leave Mary out of the picture.
