When "The Golden Girls" finally ended its impressive run, one of the spinoffs "The Golden Palace" followed Rose and her friends as they run a hotel in Miami. The hotel manager was played by Don Cheadle, who would famously go on to play James Rhodes aka War Machine.

Alas, "The Golden Palace" did not attract the following of its predecessor series, and it was canceled after just one season. Luckily for fans, it was far from the end of the road for both Cheadle and White.
