The '90s Sitcom Star You Forgot Had A Small Role On NCIS

By LIAM MATHEWS
In the 400+ episodes that “NCIS” has aired, there have been so many guest stars that fans probably won’t remember them all. However, Jaleel White, who played Steve Urkel on the ‘90s sitcom “Family Matters,” looked so different on “NCIS” and had such a short appearance that fans may not even have realized it was him.
White appeared in the opening scene of the Season 9 episode “A Desperate Man” as Martin Thomas, who is looking at an under-construction apartment with his wife and real estate agent. In a scene that is classic to procedural dramas like “NCIS,” the characters discover the murdered body of a Navy lieutenant, which sets off the involvement of the NCIS team.
Since “Family Matters” ended in 1998, White has appeared in "CSI," "Castle," and "Hawaii Five-0,” and most recently, he had a recurring role on Netflix's family sitcom "The Big Show Show" as Terry, the Big Show's best friend. Fans can catch the “NCIS” episode with White on Netflix.
