The CW renewed “Superman & Lois” for Season 4, so fans will be able to see Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois’ (Elizabeth Tulloch) family story continue.

However, the Season 4 renewal resulted from several months of negotiations, leading to many budget cuts and lowering the episode count from 15 to 10.

The CW wants to move away from superhero shows, so Season 4 may be the last, at least allowing “Superman & Lois” to have a proper ending.

The show’s massive budget cuts also led to the loss of a few series regulars. However, there may be a glimmer of hope that fans will get a fifth season.

There is a chance “Superman & Lois” could become a Max Original like “Titans,” “Doom Patrol,” “Young Justice,” and “Harley Quinn,” but fans will have to wait and see.
