Stephen King Has
The Same
Stranger Things
4 Complaint As
The Rest Of Us
By MIKE BEDARD
The fourth season of "Stranger Things" has been highly anticipated by many, including the king of horror himself, Stephen King. The series has always maintained strong roots in King's work, and while the author seems to love the series, he does have one complaint that appears to be shared by other fans.
King has taken to social media to voice how he doesn't like how Season 4 is divided into two volumes, even stating, “IMHO, that's kind of lame."  Fans on Twitter have been equally vocal about this, including @breonahumphrey, who wrote, "Whoever decided to split season 4 of Stranger Things into 2 parts needs to be put in jail immediately...IMMEDIATELY!"
Executive producer Shawn Levy says there's a good reason behind this dual-release strategy, "We didn't think nine episodes were going to be ready in time, and we have made the world wait long enough.” Dividing Season 4 allowed the team more time to ensure the final two episodes, which is what volume two will consist of, were as good as possible.
