Sami Gayle Left Blue Bloods To Focus
On Herself

Fans of “Blue Bloods” on CBS may have noticed that the screen time of Sami Gayle who plays Nicky Reagan-Boyle has been diminishing since Season 10.
One reason viewers were seeing less of her is because she has been juggling being a full-time student at Columbia University while continuing to film “Blue Bloods.”
After years balancing between being a student and an actress, Gayle seems to finally be taking time for herself, and her Instagram page is full of vacation snapshots.
In one post, she wrote about her personal goal of exposing herself to new adventures, saying, “Every day, I try to do at least one thing that takes me out of my bubble.”
Even though Gayle seems happy with her me-time, and her character on “Blue Bloods” has taken a new job on the West Coast, it doesn’t mean she’s done with the show.
There has been no announcement that she’s leaving the series, and in an interview with Glitter Magazine, the actress expressed her desire for her character to return to NYC.
