Sam Raimi Confirms Suspicions About Spider-Man 4 With Tobey Maguire

By BRANDON SHOAFF

Sam Raimi is back in the spotlight with "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness," which promises to be an absolute spectacle. With the recent overwhelming success of "Spider-Man: No Way Home," which saw Raimi's Spider-Man, Tobey Maguire, the question has arisen of whether Raimi will team up with Maguire for a “Spiderman-4.”

During an interview with Fandango, Raimi said "I've come to realize after making 'Doctor Strange' that anything is possible, really anything in the Marvel universe, any team-ups.” But he did add that he's not sure if Marvel would be interested in a Raimi, Maguire, and Dunst reunion right now.

Raimi was then asked if he would return to direct another MCU movie after the "Doctor Strange" sequel and he gave an enthusiastic response that made it clear that he would absolutely come back to direct another film if asked. So while "Spider-Man 4" is hardly a sure thing, the willingness of Raimi to rejoin the Marvel fold makes it look more likely than ever.
