Rust Producer
Makes A Shocking
Announcement
At Cannes

Just last week, it was reported that Alec Baldwin and another "Rust" producer, Anjul Nigam, would be launching a new TV and film company. The announcement, which raised more than a few eyebrows, also reported that Baldwin and Nigam plan to name the company Persona Entertainment and already have plans for a new movie, a psychological thriller titled "False Awakening," starring Baldwin.
Now, Nigam has come forward and made a public revelation about more future plans for Baldwin and himself, which have people questioning their motives. According to Nigam, one of those quality movies that he and Baldwin’s new company is reportedly confident in making — or finishing, in this instance — is, shockingly, "Rust."
According to Nigam, once the Santa Fe County sheriff's office completes its probe of Halyna Hutchins' death the "Rust" crew will go back to work on completing the movie and eventually release it. In the wake of the announcement, people took to social media to voice their distaste for what most found to be a shocking and callous decision.
