Take On The Office's
'Controversial'
Scenes
By JULIE RIVER
“The Office” remains an iconic and pioneering mockumentary sitcom even though not every episode of the hit show has aged well. Oscar Nunez, who played Oscar on the show, recently shared his honest opinion on the show's controversial episodes.
In an interview, Nunez explained that he doesn’t think the more controversial elements are a very big deal. He said, "I think it's a funny show, and I also think people find it comforting. It's gonna be funny, but they're not gonna get any surprises or anything too controversial. The controversial stuff is pretty harmless."
According to Cord Cutters News, in 2020, seven years after it went off the air, "The Office" was Netflix's most-watched show until the streaming service lost the rights to the show on January 1, 2021. So clearly, people still enjoy the show, even with the changing cultural norms of the 2020s.
