Stranger Things 4
Storyline

After surviving the Upside Down and getting possessed by the Mind Flayer, Will Byers found himself dealing with a different kind of emotional turmoil in “Stranger Things 4” — his strong feelings for Mike Wheeler. It was heavily implied (though not confirmed) that he loves Mike, and some fans have criticized the show for not letting him come out on screen.
However, Will’s actor Noah Schnapp has candidly defended the show’s handling of his character’s storyline. Schnapp tweeted, “First of all its the 80s,” he said, “and the kids a FRESHMAN in [high school]. Let them slowly develop the plot and when he does come out it will be really special and real.”
It's also worth remembering that "Stranger Things'' isn't averse to having openly LGBTQ+ characters, as seen with Robin. That said, fans will probably be happy with the fact that Schnapp’s comment (seemingly) confirms that Will is, indeed, going to come out in the final season.
