Michelle Pfeiffer Just Confirmed Suspicions About Joining The MCU

By KIERAN FISHER
Michelle Pfeiffer is one of the most renowned performers to join the MCU in recent years. Playing Janet Van Dyke/The Wasp, she has graced the screen in "Ant-Man and the Wasp" and "Avengers: Endgame," and she is set to reprise the role in "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.”
Pfeiffer appeared on "The Tonight Show" and discussed her MCU involvement with Jimmy Fallon. Fallon asked Pfeiffer how much she knew about Marvel's plans for the future when she initially accepted the role, but it seems that the studio has a habit of keeping actors in the dark at times.
Pfeiffer told Fallon that Marvel officials are "very secretive" when it comes to storyline plans for the MCU. "It's a little hard because I met with [director] Peyton [Reed], and I knew a little bit about the character, but there was no script,” she said. “You have to commit without actually having read anything."
