MCU Fans Think Thor:
Love And Thunder Just
Laid The Groundwork
For This Powerhouse

Each MCU movie tends to set up new heroes and villains that will show up somewhere down the line. In the case of “Thor: Love and Thunder,” fans are already speculating that Gorr’s daughter (who was brought back to life at the end of the film) could become the stand-in for a very powerful character from the comics.
Said character is Captain Universe, a moniker that has been used by many different superheroes. As the guardian of eternity, Captain Universe played a large role in the Hickman run of Avengers which led to “Secret Wars” — a storyline which, according to one fan, “is where all the incursion stuff from [Multiverse of Madness] is no doubt heading in ten years."
All Captain Universes derive their abilities from an extra-planar and semi-sentient energy known as the Uni-Power, which has typically appeared in times of great need. If Gorr’s daughter becomes Captain Universe, she will become the protector of all life — a role directly opposite that of her father, and one that is needed to face the growing threat of the Multiverse.
