Lindsay Lohan's Description Of Cady And Regina From Mean Girls Is Stunning

By CAROLYN JENKINS
On a press tour for her new Netflix rom-com “Falling For Christmas,” Lindsay Lohan sat down with Vogue to talk about her career. In the interview, Lohan voiced her thoughts about initially wanting to play Regina instead of Cady in “Mean Girls.”
Her reasoning was that after appearing in “Freaky Friday” as a rock-chick, Lohan wanted to play the “pretty, normal girl” instead of “the damaged teenager again.” So when she was cast as Cady, a character who initially doesn’t care about popularity, Lohan stated that she was “eager to get into the transitional part of [...] the pretty part of Cady.”
While most would view Regina as a “damaged teenager” in her own right, there was an aspirational quality to her. It seems that Lohan was more interested in the element of becoming the perfect Plastic, because it was so different from her previous roles.
