Keegan-Michael Key has expanded his comedy chops into the voice acting world, and some of his credits include "The Lego Movie" and three of the "Hotel Transylvania" films. He has developed a real passion for voice work and has even lent his voice to more Disney projects than audiences might have realized.
Since 2019, Key has provided voices for characters in no fewer than four Disney projects, three of them reboots or remakes. First came a sequel, “Toy Story 4,” where he reunited with Jordan Peele to voice a duo of carnival toys, followed by the computer-animated remake of “The Lion King,” in which Key voiced Kamari, one of three wily hyenas in cahoots with Scar.
In 2022, Key voiced not one but two characters in "Chip 'n' Dale: Rescue Rangers" — Chip’s frog co-worker and the far more memorable Bjornson the Cheesemonger (a clear nod to the Swedish Chef). He also voiced, in the remake of “Pinocchio,” the cunning, anthropomorphic fox "Honest" John Worthington Foulfellow, who twice tricks Pinocchio into perilous situations.
