In a post on his Instagram page, Joe Gatto announced that he "will no longer be involved with Impractical Jokers." Due to the fact that he and his wife Bessy are splitting up, he wants to focus on co-parenting the six and four-year-old children they share.

Gatto may be putting his family first, but he still has love for his practical joking crew. His post also stated that walking away from the show and his fellow jokers, was a very difficult decision to make.

Although Gatto may no longer be a part of the series, he's not turning his back on comedy. He concluded the post by stating, “As I work through the challenges I am facing, I hope to and am excited to create new ways to entertain you."
