The early YouTube meme “Zombie Kid,” known for saying “I like turtles,” has resurfaced 13 years later promoting “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.”

The new video by Paramount Pictures replicates the original, tying in the iconic phrase to promote the film amidst an ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.

Since going viral, Jonathan Ware, the Zombie Kid’s actual name, has appeared on “Tosh.0,” where a joke connected the iconic video to “TMNT.”

In 2023, Ware launched a short-lived YouTube channel, “It's Turtle Time,” garnering 1,000 subscribers before its closure.
