Hulu Confirms Suspicions About Keanu Reeves In Scorsese's Devil In The White City
By PAULI POISUO
Hulu's upcoming show "The Devil in the White City," based on Erik Larson's book about serial killer H. H. Holmes, is set to be produced by Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio, and the hype only went up when rumors broke that Keanu Reeves would join the cast. Now, Reeves' involvement in the show has become clear, and fans can definitely get excited.
Reeves is officially set to play a major role in "The Devil in the White City." While his actual role has not been publicly announced, the show's IMDb page lists Reeves as Daniel H. Burnham, the real-life 1893 World's Fair architect and the original "White City" novel's most major character, besides H. H. Holmes himself.
"The Devil in the White City" explores Burnham and Holmes' characters, and how the former's World's Fair designs allowed the latter to prey on hapless visitors. It remains to be seen how the show goes about this and how Reeves' role will shape up, but an actor of his status should bring plenty of prestige to the Scorsese-produced project.
