Filmed That
Eye-Opening
Bear Scene
By SOPHIA SOTO
After much anticipation, "Prey" is officially streaming on Hulu. One really memorable sequence that takes place in the film is a fight scene between the Predator and a bear.
Amber Midthunder, who plays Naru in the film, opened up about filming the scene and revealed that it was shot in two different locations. She explained that the river sequence was shot in the mountains of Alberta, Canada.
She continued to break the filming experience down, stating that the second location was a big pool: "They built the dam in the river and at the studio. There was a guy literally in a bear suit that was clawing at me [...] And then, there were effects of when the dam gets destroyed that was some kind of big explosion."
