“1883” is a direct prequel to “Yellowstone,” and Gratiela Brancusi, who plays the widowed Romani woman Noemi, has recently spoken about the great cast that was assembled for the show. She particularly described what it was like to act alongside legendary country music star Faith Hill.

Brancusi told Taste of Country that she and Hill have become close friends, and even though it was Hill’s first major acting role, she made sure everyone was taken care of on-set. Hill plays Margaret Dutton in "1883," who is the great-grandmother of Kevin Costner's John Dutton from "Yellowstone."

Brancusi added that working with Tim McGraw, another famous country musician and Hill’s husband, is also an enjoyable experience. She credits the show's creator, Taylor Sheridan, for putting together such a great cast
