George Clooney Is Related To A Late NCIS Star But Only Fans Knew

Actress Rosemary Clooney, George Clooney's aunt, had five children with her husband José Ferrer including late actor Miguel Ferrer, who followed in his parents' footsteps.
After appearing in an uncredited role in the "ER" pilot, Ferrer went on to play NCIS Assistant Director Owen Granger on the hit CBS series, "NCIS: Los Angeles."
During his life, he compiled more than 125 roles in film and television from 1981 to 2017, with his supporting role in the sci-fi classic, "RoboCop," having launched him into film.
Ferrer's other big-screen credits included director Steven Soderbergh's hit 2000 drug drama, "Traffic," and the 2013 Marvel Cinematic Universe smash, "Iron Man 3."
Sadly, Ferrer died of throat cancer on January 17, 2017, at age 61, having spent his last night out laughing and telling stories over dinner with friends, according to Clooney.
