The characters celebrated their victory over the Night King in Season 8 by gathering for a festive night of drinking and partying. During the scene, fans noticed a Starbucks coffee cup sitting on the table, which was totally out of place in this medieval world.
Coffee Cup Meme
Daenerys is constantly adding braids to her hair after winning battles, keeping with the tradition of her first husband Khal Drogo. Eagle-eyed fans spotted an error in Season 8 where her hair completely changed mid-scene.
Too Many Wigs
Gendry was granted a new title and a new name by Daenerys in Season 8 when she officially dubbed him Gendry Baratheon of Storm's End. Before this, Gendry incorrectly self-identified himself with the bastard name “Rivers.”
Name Changes
King’s Landing is a popular location for the characters in Game of Thrones, easily distinguished by its location next to the sea. Season 8 changed the look of King’s Landing when the characters stood at the city gates, showing off a vast desert instead of an ocean.
A New World
Jamie Lannister's character was heavily defined by the loss of his right hand in Season 3, but the limb made a shocking comeback in Season 4. The missing hand returns in a behind-the-scenes featurette and the actor can be seen holding a modern coffee cup.
