First Look At Stranger Things Season 4 Offers Tantalizing Clues

By EAMMON JACOBS

Fans have waited over two years for the fourth season of “Stranger Things,” and the first volume will finally be available on Netflix on May 27th, while the second volume will premiere on July 1st. Following a brief teaser in 2021, Netflix has released a handful of new images of old and new faces on its Tudum blog.

Eleven is shown with Mike Wheeler, Will Byers, and Jonathan Byers, we get a look at Joseph Quinn as newcomer Eddie, and there’s a new team-up of Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler and Maya Hawke as Robin Buckley. Chief Hopper is also shown alive, and it looks like Joyce Byers and Murray Bauman are trying to rescue him, but there’s a crashed plane in the background of their shot.

The blog also has an interesting quote taken from an upcoming podcast episode where Ross Duffer states that Season 4 will delve “more into that horror movie territory that we love.” The Duffer Brothers have previously announced that Season 5 will be the end of the current iteration of the series, so Season 4 will be the “beginning of the end” when it airs.
