A TV series based on the steamy “A Court of Thorns and Roses” series by Sarah J. Maas is currently in the works, although additional details and information are currently unavailable. So far, all fans know is that “Outlander” creator Ronald D. Moore will be in charge of the Hulu show.

A “Red Queen” TV series based on the novels by Victoria Aveyard is currently in the works at Peacock, directed and produced by beloved actress Elizabeth Banks. Banks has had an interest in “Red Queen” since 2015, and also will have a supporting role in the TV series.

Amazon Studios won the rights to Leigh Bardugo’s “Ninth House” after an extensive bidding war, and will have Bardugo serve as executive producer for the TV adaptation. “Shadow and Bone” and “Divergent” creator Pouya Shahbazian will also be producing the series.

In 2020, production halted for the TV adaptation of Naomi Alderman’s feminist novel “The Power” due to scheduling and the pandemic, but the show’s back in development and facing reshoots since Leslie Mann and Tim Robbins had to drop out. The first season of the Amazon Prime series was written entirely by women.

The award-winning “Who Fears Death” by Nnedi Okorafor has an impressive crew working on the novel’s TV adaptation, with Tessa Thompson and George R. R. Martin both set to produce the show. The post-apocalyptic coming-of-age series will be released on HBO.
