THIS ARTICLE THAT INVOLVES AN ONGOING NEWS STORY WAS WRITTEN ON August 8, 2022. THE FACTS OF THE STORY ARE ACCURATE AS OF THAT DATE.

Ezra Miller, best known for their role as the Flash, has had numerous scandals in the past two years, with multiple violent disturbances, harassment and disorderly conduct charges, and arrests on their record. Most recently, Miller was charged by the Vermont State Police with felony burglary in the town of Stamford.
According to police, “several bottles of alcohol were taken from within the residence while the homeowners were not present.” The burglary charges are the latest of Miller's scandals, which also include allegedly brandishing a gun while making inappropriate comments in front of a child, and housing a mother with three children at their Vermont farm with guns and bullets strewn about the farmhouse.
Miller was issued a citation to appear in court on September 26, 2022, regarding the burglary charges. Should they be convicted of any of the crimes they’ve been charged with, Miller could be removed from “The Flash” film currently in development, as Warner Bros. has been cleaning house lately and recently scrapped “Batgirl.”
