Ever since the release of a 2020 footage where they were seen choking a woman in a bar, Ezra Miller has been drawing growing attention for their recent allegations of assault, abuse, and a felony burglary charge following a break-in of a home in May. They were also arrested twice in Hawaii for disorderly conduct and second-degree assault.
With fans demanding that Miller be immediately replaced as the Flash, the actor has finally spoken out on the matter. In a statement issued to Variety, Miller describes having gone through “a time of intense crisis” and “suffering complex mental health issues” for which they’re currently in treatment.
Miller also apologized to everyone and stated that they’re committed to returning to a “healthy, safe, and productive stage in [their] life.” The announcement came after Warner Bros. Discovery planned to keep “The Flash” on course for 2023 and avoid boxing up a $200 million project that's set to reignite its flagship franchise.
