Before Jason Momoa achieved superstardom in DCEU’s “Aquaman” and Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune” he appeared as the menacing Dothraki leader Khal Drogo during the first season of “Game of Thrones.” His on-screen wife Emilia Clarke who famously played Daenerys Targaryen has opened up about what it’s like to work with her handsome co-star.
Clarke appeared in numerous nude scenes in the first season of "Game of Thrones," and one of her intimate scenes involved her character being sexually assaulted by Khal Drogo. While filming the upsetting scene Momoa did his best to make her feel at ease and protected.
Jason Momoa's sweet and supportive behavior towards Emilia Clarke extended beyond their intimate scenes and he was incredibly concerned about his "GOT" co-star's almost fatal brain aneurysms. A decade after they met on “GOT,” the former co-stars still share a close bond and remain friends.
