Existence In
The MCU?

With so many movies and television shows mentioned in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, some of the actors who actually star in it are also canon within it. For example, Robert Downey Jr. is "Iron Man" in the MCU, but in Episode 2 of "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law," it looks like he is also an actor when one of Downey’s real-life projects is shown playing on a TV in the background.
In "She-Hulk," Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) is seen waiting at a bar before being approached by Holden Holliway (Steve Coulter), and the show "Ally McBeal" is playing on the TV just above her. Fans of the late 90s law comedy watched the titular character go through several tumultuous relationships — one of which is with Larry Paul, a fellow lawyer portrayed by Robert Downey Jr.
While we don't see Robert Downey Jr. on the screen during "She-Hulk," Calista Flockhart in "Ally McBeal" is unmistakable. So, if "Ally McBeal" and Robert Downey Jr. exist in the MCU, that means every other name from the cast list does as well, including "Ant-Man" star Bobby Cannavale who appeared in five episodes of "Ally McBeal."
