The first trailer for "Deadpool & Wolverine" includes the surprising return of an X-Men movie villain fans haven't seen on the big screen since 2005's "X-Men: The Last Stand."

Aaron Stanford’s Pyro appears in a single shot of the first "Deadpool & Wolverine" trailer, perching on a platform of some kind next to an armored soldier.

"God, I love this part," he says, almost growling, before the trailer cuts away. Presumably, he'll be a villain once more, as he seems to be leading a crew of wasteland combatants.

Pyro’s outfit, which is more muted here on-screen than it is in the comics, has a red-on-yellow color palette, and his goggles will remind longtime fans of his various masks.

Although fans must wait and see how big Pyro's part will ultimately be when "Deadpool & Wolverine" premieres in theaters on July 26, it's great to see Stanford back in the role.
