Audiences first met Harry Potter on film in 2001 with "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," which featured Daniel Radcliffe in the titular role. He played the bespectacled wizard in seven subsequent movies, but his favorite "Harry Potter" movie may surprise some Potterheads.
In WIRED's Autocomplete Interview, Radcliffe discussed his experience filming and revealed that his favorite film was "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 2," which concluded the franchise. Bringing in a whopping $1.3 billion, the final chapter in the decade-long saga is the highest-grossing "Harry Potter" film, but Radcliffe also treasures another, under-appreciated chapter.
"I also really love the fifth, which is not a lot of people's favorite," Radcliffe said, referring to "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," which holds a 78% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the second-lowest in the mainline franchise. "I love it because of the relationship [between] Harry and Sirius [Black], and you get a lot of Gary Oldman in that movie," he explained.
