Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons), the brilliant, but culturally obtuse character on “The Big Bang Theory” seemed destined to go it alone at the commencement of the show. However, he eventually hit it off with the no-less quirky Amy Farrah Fowler (Mayim Bialik), and their chemistry led many fans to wonder if the actors were friends in real life.

Bialik said that she and Parsons are not “overly sentimental,” but they were still overwhelmed when “The Big Bang Theory” came to an end. She called the show’s final moments “very, very emotional” for everyone involved.
