Across The Spider-Verse's Audio Issues Left Fans Frustrated
By MIKE BEDARD
If reviews are any indication, “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” is soaring past expectations, but there is one thing dampening people’s enjoyment of it.
Viewers have taken to social media to discuss the film’s sound issues, particularly early in the movie. As one fan explained, the dialogue “was too low compared to the music.”
Writer and producer Phil Lord responded to the criticism on Twitter by explaining that movie theater projectionists should be playing the film at full volume to avoid this issue.
The film currently has a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and people can’t stop raving about it on Twitter, so it looks like the final product is being enjoyed despite the audio complaints.
